About us – The DB Class of 89

We’re a bunch of guys who’ve known each other since we were in kindergarten; the first
friends most of us ever made. We’ve stayed connected since we passed out of school. (Don
Bosco, Egmore, Chennai)

While fellowship and good times usually brought us together, we didn’t just stop there. We
set up a Scholarship fund in 2009 to help deserving students and then created a one-time
purse for our teachers and non-teaching staff in 2014.

We realised it was time we create more than just footprints but a legacy that would not just
make our teachers and school proud but also impact the wider community. That’s what
brought us here – ‘The DB89 Foundation’
